My ham activities

As usual in those days I builded all equipment myself ,starting with a tx for 80 meters.The rx was a R107

(war surplus).The next was a tx for 145 mHz with a QQE03.20 and a 6J6 convertor.

 

1955 Start of ATV experiments on 145 mHz on 6 February with as viewer PA0FB.

1956 First two-way ATV qso between PA0SW and PA0LAM (as far as we know)on the

continent of Europe.

1959 Finished my 435 mHz ATV transmitter.

1966 Changed from black and white to colour equipment.

1969 Started SSTV activities resulting in many first PA-land to (see my sstv page).

1977 First ATV pictures received from PA0HKS on 1.3 gHz.

1979 First HELL qso's with PA0KLS,PA0CSC,DL1OY,DJ0SA,F6EMS,PA0AOB and F9RM

1980 Moved to Spain and was licensed as PA0LAM/EA

1983 Licensed as EA5FIN

1987 Start in packet with DTNC-1

1988 Start in Pactor-1 with PK232

1994 Start in Pactor-2 with PTC-II (one of the first 10 )

1997 Start ATV on 13 and 23 cm in Dilbeek near Brussels.
